Tracking failed searches in your knowledge base can provide valuable insights into content gaps, user needs, and areas for improvement. By identifying search queries that yield no results, you can take proactive steps to address those gaps and enhance the overall user experience.
Here are the steps on how to track failed searches in your knowledge base:
Login to your knowledge base.
Look for Reports in the navigation pane and click on it.
Failed searches report will be displayed below Knowledge Base Views graph on the KB reports page.
Click on the Date Range dropdown and select any date range; it will display the number of failed searches with searched key words for the selected date range.
