Here are the steps on how to track popular searches in your knowledge base:
Login to your knowledge base.
Look for Reports icon in navigation pane and click on it.
Popular searches reports will be displayed on the right side of the KB reports page.
It will display the popular searched keywords with the number of times they are searched.
Click on Date Range dropdown and select any date range; it will display the popular searched keywords with number of times it is searched.
